I've always bloody hated April Fools Day. Let me put it out there now that if anyone attempts to prank me tomorrow in the spirit of "good humour," don't be surprised if you find a pink slip from HR in your mailbox. And no, it won't be any tomfoolery on my part, I can promise you that. These are too precarious of times to be allowing for incidents that could be taken lightly when they shouldn't be.
Also anyone who tampers with the office coffee pot is a dead (wo)man. |

I'm starting to think this journals are much more problematic than helpful. Not that I ever want to go back to the days of using indoor owlpost communication. The stench was something nightmares are made of. |

Whoever was responsible for that broadcast owes me lunch. Instead of the shrimp linguini alfredo I'd been looking forward too all day, I had to spend it responding to the 14 owls and 2 howlers that my panicking daughter sent home from Hogwarts after hearing that radio report. My stomach is empty and my child is scared and I have a very unhappy wife right now whose fury, I believe, matches if not supersedes that of the Death Eaters. |

It's hard to believe that Andy's turning four soon. This is the age when kids are fun. They've got their own little personalities and the most random things in the world come flying out of their mouths. Andy's decided he wants to be a moon when he grows up. Not quite sure how he's planning on managing that, but.
On a completely different note, I'm not typically one to keep up with Quidditch gossip, but I think this is the first time that I've ever heard of two blokes claiming to be the father rather than denying up a storm. I wonder how long it'll take the WWN dramas to rip this one off.
[Rufus]Any chance that you'll be able to catch a weekend off for Nolfolking? |
